Close my eyes
Let the darkness consume
Lost to the sight of the world
Lost to myself

Lost, Going dark
I’ve closed my eyes
So I can see again
Yet death still awaits

These eyes cause but pain
Imprint upon me memories
That can’t escape
Imprisoned in the white noise of the world

Lost to my senses, yet fully on track
Truth lays in the dark
And all is but a dark reflection

Howl at the moon to the wonder
Of what lays behind
It’s all but a reflection of what’s since faded

A spotlight to the mind, body and soul
Bringing to light, what lays below
Truth sealed by lies
Lies seen but neve

We’re all but a Dark Reflection
A Truth that once mattered.
